TELEPORTATION GATE.

For my Game VFX assignment, I created a stylized teleportation gate effect using multiple Niagara systems in Unreal Engine. A parallax material simulates a tunnel-like effect on the floor, while particles flow toward the gate as if drawn into the vortex. Some ascend toward a hovering orb, which serves as a visual anchor from a distance. Surrounding the orb, armillary spheres rotate at varying speeds, symbolizing different timelines.

When the player enters, a smoke explosion is triggered. Upon touching the orb, the orb vanishes, the spheres expand, and a lens distortion effect briefly alters the camera view. The player is then teleported to the designated location as the gate momentarily fades before respawning.
